Blockbuster is the most well known name when it comes to renting movies/DVDs.
Blockbuster has more DVD rental stores than any other company.
Blockbuster does a good job with their Online DVD Rental service. However
they are bit slower than NetFlix. Blockbuster also does not have the ability
to watch movies online like NetFlix. However, Blockbuster has 1 big thing
that NetFlix does not. If you sign up for Blockbuster Total Access, you
can rent movies in any Blockbuster store for free!
Blockbuster has over 75,000 DVDs available. While NetFlix has more than that,
it probably won't matter to you because the movies are of the more obscure type
that you probably will never hear of.
Blockbuster has improved their online DVD rental service by leaps
and bounds since they first began. This has been mostly because of the pressure
from NetFlix but Blockbuster has been very quick to handle the curve balls that
NetFlix sends them.
If you rent one or more DVDs a month, this service is ideal for you. You'll
find yourself watching more movies and less regular television. |
